Professional wildlife photographer and author Carlos Navarro seeks to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and appreciation of biodiversity. His photographs and articles have been published by National Geographic, BBC, Wildlife Conservation, Reptilia, Especies, Cuartoscuro and other international magazines and books.

 

Navarro also works as an Underwater Photography Instructor for Lindblad expeditions- National Geographic expeditions through the Sea of Cortez, Alaska, the Arctic, South America, Antarctica, and other parts of the world.

 

Navarro is a biochemical engineer with a Master of Science in Environmental Management and specializes in water resources. He has lived most of his life on the shores of the Sea of Cortez and the Yucatan Peninsula.
