Prepare to take your Scratchboard art skills to the next level with Master Scratchboard Artist, Cathy Sheeter. In this more advanced Scratchboard class, the focus will be on incorporate backgrounds and natural elements (rocks, trees, flowers, water, etc.) into your nature themed Scratchboards. Students will continue to develop skills in seeing values, and creating shape, and depth in their works. Students will work along with the instructor and also work on their own personal projects throughout the class with extensive one-on-one feedback. Prerequisite - Cathy’s Scratchboard 1 or equivalent covering basic scratching techniques and tools, as these will not be covered in this class, to allow time for more advanced techniques to be taught.
