One of the greatest benefits of working with soft pastels is that you can really work the concepts of how color works through this direct medium. We’ll work through a variety of practical exercises that help simplify the sometimes confusing concepts surrounding color. You’ll get insights you may never have come across and all without having to mix wet paint. In the end, we’ll put what we learn together to create a beautiful soft pastel painting that will help us maintain the concepts we’ve learned at the forefront of our understanding.
